| Deciduous - Part Shade/Full Sun Ht. 60’-80’ Spacing 30’-50’ HABIT - This large majestic tree is identified by its thick, corky bark, large leaves and the acorns that can be up to 2” across. Burr Oak is drought resistant, long-lived, and reasonably fast growing. CULTURE - Grows from Texas to eastern North America. Tolerant of varying soils and moisture conditions. NOTES - This wonderful Oak appears to grow anywhere in the state. In fact, Burr Oak is the most widely adaptive Oak in the world. |
